Our Story
Born from a passion for cue sports and community building
The Inspiration
Matchstix was born from a simple observation: while pool halls and billiards clubs are social spaces, players often struggled to connect with others at their skill level, find quality venues, and track their improvement over time. We saw an opportunity to bridge these gaps with technology.
The Development
Our team spent two years researching player needs, testing prototypes, and building relationships with venue owners. We focused on creating an app that feels natural to pool players while providing powerful tools for skill development and social connection.
The Launch
Today, Matchstix is preparing for its official launch on August 15th, 2025. We're excited to introduce a new era of connected cue sports, where players can challenge each other, discover amazing venues, and continuously improve their game through data-driven insights.
